Reunification Day (Ngày Thống nhất) in Vietnam is celebrated on April 30th. It commemorates the Fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975, when North Vietnamese troops entered the Presidential Palace in Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City), marking the end of the Vietnam War and the reunification of North and South Vietnam into a single sovereign country.
